You might have noticed that there has been a distinct lack of information regarding the proposed opportunity for us to get away as a church family.
That’s because over the Christmas period, there were all sorts of ‘fun and games’ with speakers, venues and costings. To cut a very long story short, we sadly lost our original booking for May with the hotel. Due to all the logistics, a decision has been made to put back the date of the weekend to 4-5 October, rather than in May, as had been originally scheduled. Please can I ask you to pencil that in the diary.
We appreciate it’s hard to commit without further details, including costings, theme, etc. Next week there will be a flier we distribute, which sets out all those things and we’ll also verbally explain the hope for the weekend to help get you excited.
